Crisis Services
You Turn Services provides comprehensive crisis services that work as the buffer between community‐based services and “out of home” or institutional placement. It is an effective and efficient way of resolving mental health crisis and preventing future crisis situations. Our comprehensive crisis services are broken down into a crisis system and individual crisis programs; Community Stabilization and Mobile Crisis Response.
Community Stabilization
Community Stabilization
Community Stabilization services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. We provide for short-term assessment, crisis intervention, and care coordination.
Primary goals are to deliver short-term or ongoing mental health intervention provided in or outside the home, designed to evaluate, manage, monitor, stabilize, and support rehabilitation and recovery, consistent with the individual’s crisis/safety and individual service plan.
Services Include:

Brief therapeutic and skill-building interventions

Engagement of natural supports

Interventions to integrate natural supports in de-escalation and stabilization of crisis

Coordination of follow-up services

Linkages and referrals to appropriate community-based services
Mobile Crisis Response
Mobile Crisis Response
Mobile Crisis Response services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide for rapid response, assessment and early intervention to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Services are deployed in real-time to the location of the individual experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
We provide appropriate care, support and supervision in order to maintain safety for the individual experiencing a crisis and others, while avoiding unnecessary law enforcement involvement, emergency room utilization, and/or avoidable hospitalization.
The Purpose of this Service is to:

De-escalate the behavioral health crisis and prevent harm to the individual or others

Assist in the prevention of an individual’s acute exacerbation of symptoms

Develop an immediate plan to maintain safety

Coordinate care and linking to treatment services to meet individual's needs
